Hinnon
Hinnon is the powerful thunder spirit and leader of the Onditichiae (Thunder Beings) in Huron (Wyandot) mythology. The Huron believe the Thunders are a group of powerful storm spirits who look like a cross between men and giant turkeys. Hinnon, called Grandfather, leads them in pursuing and destroying the great horned serpents and other monsters that threaten the world. When lightning flashes, Hinnon is throwing his thunderbolt; when thunder rolls, it is his voice. The first thunderclap occurred when Aataentsic fell through the Sky Land
