Pukwudgie
In the traditional folklore of the Wampanoag people and broader Algonquian oral traditions of northeastern North America, the Pukwudgie is a small, gray-faced humanoid spirit associated with deep forests, rocky outcrops, and coastal woodlands. Standing roughly two to three feet tall, Pukwudgies are renowned in tribal storytelling for their complex, mischievous, and sometimes dangerous nature.
