Ââ'ototo Kachina

Eototo (A'ototo) is a principal Hopi kachina, the chief and 'father' of the katsinam after Angwusnasomtaka, personification of nature and protagonist of the Powamu ceremony. He comes from the red land of the south, belongs to the Bear clan, wears a white cylindrical mask topped with a nest of hair, and draws cloud symbols in cornmeal. He appears in Voth's Traditions of the Hopi.
