Aasik
Aasik is a grotesque creature of Greenlandic Inuit legend said to live around the dog-pens, feeding on scraps and waste and growing monstrously large until the people are forced to destroy it. The being is recorded in Greenlandic oral tradition and appears in retellings of Inuit folklore.
