Abai Geser
Abai Geser ('the Mighty') is the great hero of the Buryat Epic of Gesar, a mighty warrior in celestial armor who rides a magical horse and radiates divine power as a son of the sky gods. Brave, cunning, relentless, he battles ever-stronger demonic foes, from giant rats to sun-devouring monsters, using trickery and disguise. The Geser epic is shared across Tibet, Mongolia, and Buryatia.
