Agaýunus Peri
Agaýunus Peri is a supernatural fairy-woman of the Turkmen epic, wife of the legendary hero Göroglu, a woman of luminous beauty in ethereal clothing who can appear and disappear at will, moving between human and spirit worlds. Loving and graceful, she reflects the Turkmen belief in peris as intermediaries between mortals and the unseen.
