Ak-Kaan, the White Khan, is a divine hero of Altai tradition, his body shining with divine radiance, wearing white robes and riding an argamak winged steed. He seeks truth and justice, defeats dark shamans and demons, and establishes a new faith blending shamanism with Buddhist and Tibetan influences—read as the mythological reflection of the Altai shift toward Burkhanism (Ak Jang) around 1900.
