Al-Ruhban
Al-Ruhban is a unique creature from eastern Algerian folklore — the product of a marriage between a human and a jinn. According to Algerian oral tradition, when a jinn and a human produce offspring, that child is an Al-Ruhban. Raised initially in the jinn world among his or her jinn parent, Al-Ruhban inherits human qualities from the human parent that allow it to take human form and live among people undetected.
