Alhkw Ntam Nuxalk
Alhkw'ntam is the supreme creator of Nuxalk (Bella Coola) tradition, the 'heavenly father' who keeps the sun in a box in Nusmata, the land above. In the Smayusta of the Four Carpenters he is served by four supernatural carpenters who carve the first ancestors, and his light is stolen by the charcoal-made Raven Qwaxw, who brings day to the world.
