Almas
Almas is the wildman or ape-man of Mongolian legend, reported chiefly from the western aimags and the Altai. It is described as a large man-like biped of five to six and a half feet, covered in thick dark brown, reddish, yellowish, or black hair except on hands and face, often with a heavy beard. Shy and reclusive, it is treated both as legend and as a possibly real primate.
