Amaru
Amaru (or katari in Aymara) is the cosmic serpent/dragon of Andean mythology (Inca, pre-Inca). A double-headed serpent dwelling in lakes and rivers, connecting the earthly world (kay pacha) with the underworld (uku pacha) and upper world (hanan pacha). Represents infinity, wisdom, water, lightning, and the Milky Way.
