Andaokut Nuu Chah Nulth
Andaokut is the hero of a Nuu-chah-nulth myth cycle who frees the children stolen by Malahas, the Woman of the Woods. He is born from the mucus or tears of the grieving mother, grows swiftly, finds the children in the forest, kills Malahas, and restores them to their families, ending the terror the ogre-woman had brought to the villages.
