Antaeus (Anti)
Antaeus (known to the Berbers as Anti) is a giant figure from ancient Berber and Greek mythology, associated with Libya. According to the myths, Antaeus was the son of Poseidon (god of the sea) and Gaia (goddess of the earth), and he lived in the interior deserts of Libya. He would challenge all passers-by to wrestling matches and remained invincible as long as he remained in contact with his mother, the earth, from whom he drew his strength.
