Ápoyan Ta'chu (Sky Father) is a creator deity in Zuni mythology, regarded as the supreme ruler of the Above World. He is the father of the Sun Priest and the Moon Maiden, and together with Earth Mother (Uchtsiti) he shaped the first beings from cornmeal. Ápoyan Ta'chu instructed the Zuni people in the art of prayer plumes and ritual offerings, and his breath is said to carry the warmth of summer winds.
