Aral
Not independently attested in folklore literature. 'Aral' is a Turkic word meaning 'sea' or 'island', best known from the Aral Sea, and no tradition records a water spirit by this name. Water spirits are genuine in Turkic and Central Asian belief, such as the Turkic su iyesi or the su perisi, but they are not called 'Aral'.
