Áwitelin Tsíta (Earth Mother)
Awitelin Tsita (Áwitelin Tsíta) is the Earth Mother of Zuni creation, formed together with the Sky Father Ápoyan Ta'chu from the mists that lay over the great waters; she conceived all living things in her four-fold womb. In Frank Hamilton Cushing's Zuni Genesis, the All-Father Awonawilona sets this creation in motion. She is a central generative deity of Zuni cosmology.
