Awonawilona
Awonawilona is the supreme creator deity of the Zuni people of New Mexico, whose name translates to "All Container" or "He Who Contains Everything." In Zuni creation mythology, Awonawilona existed before all things as a formless, self-created being containing within itself the potential for all existence. From this primordial state, Awonawilona initiated creation by becoming the mist and clouds that filled the void, then transformed into the sun-father to bring light and warmth to the world. The deity then created the Earth Mother (Awitelin Tsita) and Sky Father (Apoyan Tachu) from the green s
