Ayida-Weddo (also known as Aido Hwedo) is the cosmic rainbow serpent of Fon/Dahomey mythology who supports the entire world. According to the Fon creation myth, Ayida-Weddo served as Mawu's mount during creation — his winding body shaped the mountains, valleys, and rivers of the earth.
