Babi Ngepet
Babi Ngepet is a boar-shaped demon of Javanese and Balinese folklore, a man transformed into a wild pig through pesugihan, dark magic traded for wealth. The transformed man raids villages at night as a boar to drain or steal their money while an assistant guards a floating candle, its flame the link to his human body. The tale warns against enriching oneself through pact-making and greed.
