Badger Guardian of Ashanti
Not independently attested in folklore literature. The badger is not a traditional Ashanti (Akan) spirit animal. Genuine Ashanti forest beings include the sasabonsam, the mmoatia dwarfs, the abosom (lesser deities), and Anansi the spider; the leopard, python, and crocodile carry royal symbolism, but no badger guardian is documented.
