Badger Water-Spirit of Creek
No Creek (Muscogee) tradition documents a badger water-spirit; the input itself concedes the badger is not water-associated in Creek belief. The genuine water-beings of Creek cosmology are the great serpents and water panthers said to inhabit rivers, springs, and swamps. The 'badger water-spirit' is a template fabrication combining an animal with an element and a nation.
