Not independently attested in folklore literature. No Blackfoot tradition records a badger ghost. Blackfoot spiritual life centres on Napi (Old Man) the trickster-transformer, the buffalo, and vision quests in which animals may appear as guardians, but the badger is not a documented vision figure.
