Bannick
Not independently attested in folklore literature. No Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) source records a spirit named 'Bannick'; the name likely echoes the Russian bannik, the bathhouse spirit. Ojibwe tradition does include manitou spirits and the underwater panther Mishipeshu, but no figure of this name appears in the ethnographic record.
