Beetle Guardian (Nepali)
Not independently attested as a figure of Nepali tradition. Nepali folklore blends Hindu, Buddhist and animist beliefs with documented beings such as nāgas and village guardian spirits, but no source records a 'beetle guardian' of the fields, and the account of an insect spirit balancing pests is invented. Insects play no named protective role in the documented Nepali corpus.
