Bison Animal-Spirit of Yurok
Not independently attested in folklore literature. Bison are not native to Yurok territory on the lower Klamath River, and the entry invents a bison spirit 'known through trade' with no source. Yurok cosmology centers on the river, ocean, forest, and the Immortals who established ceremonies; no bison being appears in it.
