Bison Giant of Lakota
Not independently attested in folklore literature. No primordial Bison Giant exists in Lakota tradition; the creation-story of a titan whose body forms the prairies and Black Hills is fabricated. Genuine Lakota narratives concern the White Buffalo Calf Woman and the sacred beings of the Black Hills (He Sapa), none of them a land-forming bison giant.
