Bison Water-Spirit of Cree
Not independently attested as a water-spirit of Cree folklore. Plains Cree tradition honors the buffalo covenant and Buffalo Woman teachings, but no bison water-spirit dwelling in muskeg swamps is documented. Cree water-beings are the great horned serpent and the spirit-mother of the lake, not a buffalo.
