Bison Water-Spirit of Dogon
Not independently attested in folklore literature. The Nommo are genuine Dogon ancestral water spirits, but no bison spring-guardian is recorded among them, and bison play no role in Dogon cosmology. The Bandiagara spring-keeper story is invented.
