Bison Ancestor-Spirit of Tlingit
Not independently attested as an ancestor-spirit of Tlingit folklore. Bison were never part of Tlingit life on the Canadian side of their coastal homeland; Tlingit clans trace descent through the raven, wolf, eagle and other coastal creatures. No bison-ancestor figure appears in documented Tlingit oral tradition.
