Bison Ancestor-Spirit of Tlingit
Not independently attested as an ancestor-spirit of Tlingit folklore. Bison did not occur in the Alaskan and American parts of Tlingit territory, and Tlingit ancestry follows the raven and wolf moieties and coastal animal clans. A bison-ancestor appears nowhere in the documented Tlingit traditions.
