Bison Guardian of Ojibwe
Not independently attested as a guardian of Ojibwe folklore. The founding Ojibwe totem clans — crane, loon, bear, marten, deer, fish and bird — do not include the bison, which plays no clan or guardian role in the documented traditions. The bison-guardian of Ojibwe appears only in fabricated modern listings.
