Bjära
Bjäran is a witch's familiar in Swedish folklore, created through a dark ritual. To make a Bjära, a witch takes nine threads of different colors, pricks her left pinky for blood, and recites incantations over the threads while crafting a creature that will serve her. The Bjära appears as a ball of yarn, a hare, a cat, or a bird, and its primary task is to steal milk from neighbors' cows, then return home and vomit the milk into a bucket (called a 'puke-chäl' or vomit bucket) for the witch to use. The Bjära cannot be killed by ordinary means — if caught and tortured, the pain transmits directly
