Black Hactcin
Black Hactcin is the most powerful of the Hactcin holy beings in Jicarilla Apache creation tradition. He shaped the first four-legged animal from clay and made other animals from parts of its body, then created the first man from turquoise, coral, opal, jet, and abalone brought by the animals. He is a primordial maker and protector.
