Brugmo (Gesar's Queen)
Brugmo (Brug-gu-ma), Queen of Ling, is the central heroine of the Tibetan Epic of King Gesar. Won as the prize of the great horse race that revealed Gesar's true kingship, she is later seized by the king of Hor, and her rescue drives one of the epic's longest campaigns. Noble, loyal, and strong-willed, she is a reincarnated heavenly being sent to aid the hero.
