Cadejo is a spirit from Central American mythology. The legend has pre-Columbian indigenous origins, where dogs were believed to help humans pass into the afterlife. With the arrival of Christianity, the story evolved into a dualistic tale. The White Cadejo, with blue eyes, is a protective spirit that guards drunkards, lost travelers, and innocent children from harm.
