Not independently attested in folklore literature. No Trinidadian spirit named 'Carival' exists; the entry is a fabricated personification of Carnival. Trinidad's real folk entities include the douen, La Diablesse, the soucouyant, and Papa Bois, none of which is a personification of the festival.
