Cougar Ghost of Choctaw
Not independently attested in folklore literature. Choctaw tradition does include the panther (koi) as a clan animal and the horned serpent Sint Holo as a water spirit, but no 'cougar ghost' guarding river crossings is documented. The river-threshold guardian role is invented.
