Cougar Giant of Kwakiutl
Not independently attested in folklore literature. Kwakwaka'wakw (Kwakiutl) cosmology includes Dzunukwa the wild woman, Bakwas the ghost king, and Sisiutl the sea serpent, but no cougar giant figures among the transformation beings of the winter ceremonials. The cougar-giant role is invented.
