Cougar Water-Spirit of Apache
Not independently attested as a water-spirit of Apache folklore. Cougars are honored among Western Apache as powerful medicine animals and directional guardians, but no Apache cougar water-spirit is documented. Apache water-beings include the horned serpent; a cougar of the desert springs is not attested in the sources.
