Cougar Trickster (Mapuche)
Not independently attested as a figure of Mapuche tradition. The puma (pangui, trapial) is genuinely significant as a sacred animal in Mapuche culture, but no source records a 'cougar trickster' called trapial wekufe who assisted the sun during creation; Antu is the Mapuche sun, not a creation hero. The trickster role is invented rather than drawn from Mapuche oral tradition.
