Not independently attested in folklore literature. Coyote is not a Haida figure; the Haida trickster and transformer is Raven (Yáahl). The claim of a coyote brother of Raven who shaped the coastline is fabricated, importing a Plains and Great Basin trickster into Haida Gwaii.
