Coyote Deity of Shona
Not independently attested. Coyotes are absent from Zimbabwe, and no Shona deity of the coyote appears in the ethnographic record; the input reinterprets the animal as a 'local jackal,' which is not a Shona god either. Shona cosmology centres on Mwari, the vadzimu ancestors and Nyami Nyami of the Zambezi; no coyote or jackal deity is named.
