Coyote Nature-Spirit of Guarani
Not independently attested as a figure of Guarani tradition. Coyotes are absent from Paraguay and the Guarani world, and no source describes a coyote psychopomp guiding souls across water. The Guarani belief that the soul must cross a great water to reach the 'land without evil' (Yvy Mara'ey) is genuine, but no spirit guide named for a coyote appears in it.
