Crane Ancestor-Spirit of Baloch
Not independently attested as an ancestor-spirit of Baloch tradition. The demoiselle crane (koonj) is genuinely beloved in Balochistan — its spring arrival over the Zhob valley is an omen of good fortune and a poetic metaphor for beauty — but no source records a crane ancestor-spirit guarding the Mayar code or the trade routes. That guardian figure is invented around a real bird's symbolism.
