Crow (Maya)
No crow trickster is attested in Maya tradition. The Maya have no sacred or trickster crow in their mythology; the great bird of the Popol Vuh is Vucub-Caquix, the Principal Bird Deity who appears as a macaw and is defeated by the Hero Twins. The Canada country tag and the Maya-diaspora framing reflect a modern invention, not recorded tradition.
