Crow (Maya)
Not independently attested as a Maya trickster or ancestral guide. No source records a crow spirit that escorts Maya families to Canada or turns snow into cornmeal; crows play no central role in Maya myth, and the nearest attested bird-demon is Vucub-Caquix, the boastful false-sun macaw of the Popol Vuh, defeated by the Hero Twins with a blowgun.
