Culebra de Coamo
Culebra de Coamo is a sacred serpent guardian of the Coamo thermal springs in Puerto Rico. Described as a large luminous snake with emerald and gold scales, diamond-patterned spine, and jet eyes. It permits only the pure-hearted to bathe in the healing waters, boiling the springs if disrespected. A distinct Puerto Rican tradition.
