Cyhyraeth
The Cyhyraeth is a Welsh death-omen spirit, primarily a disembodied moaning voice heard three times (growing fainter each time) before a death, especially during epidemics or disasters. Associated with the River Tywi in Dyfed and the Glamorganshire coast (where it warns of shipwrecks with corpse-lights).
