Čázevulošnieida
Čázevulošnieida (the Underwater Girl) is a Sea Sami spirit from the Unjárga/Nesseby region on the Varangerfjord, Norway. She is the daughter of Čáhceháldi (the Sea Guard), a mythical sea ranger who lives in a parallel underwater world. When a Sami fisherman boy encounters her, their meeting reveals how perspectives are completely inverted between the world above the waves and the world below — what is 'up' for one is 'down' for the other.
