Dakhanavar
The Dakhanavar is a territorial vampire from Armenian folklore first documented by Baron August von Haxthausen in his 1854 book Transcaucasia: Sketches of the Nations and Races Between the Black Sea and the Caspian. This ferocious bloodsucker dwells in a cavern within the mountains of Ultmish Altotem, protecting the 366 valleys of the region from intruders and mapmakers. It cannot tolerate anyone who tries to count the valleys or penetrate its domain, correctly fearing that knowledge of the landscape would reveal its secret hiding places.
